Composition and Properties

GEMCOAT SAG is a clear water based environmentally
friendly based sacrificial anti graffiti coating which can be applied
over most painted and unpainted surfaces to protect them from graffiti
attack.

It can also be used as a release agent for glues, resins,
paint etc

It is formulated to allow removal of common forms of
graffiti from surfaces painted with GEMCOAT SAG.

This includes aerosol paints such as enamels and
fluorescent lacquers,and felt tip inks.

It functions by allowing a small portion of the coating
to be removed with the graffiti.

The area cleaned of graffiti is then recoated with
GEMCOAT SAG.

To remove graffiti with minimal damage to the coating
GEMSTRIP GA graffiti remover is recommended.

GEMCOAT SAG will remain effective , if not removed, for
up to 10 years when correctly applied to properly prepared surfaces.

Method of Application
-
Apply two coats of GEMCOAT SAG by spray , roller, or
brush.

Allow to dry between coats before reapplying. In winter
allow 24 hours between coats.

Do apply when raining or temperatures are below 10 ° C
-
Handling Precautions

Avoid skin & eye contact.

Avoid inhalation of spray droplets.

Keep away from children.
