Composition and Properties

GEMSTRIP C is a powerful low toxicity water and solvent
based graffiti remover activated by an organic acid.

It does not contain materials suspected of causing cancer
commonly used in powerful graffiti removers such as methylene chloride,
and phenol.

It does not contain strong mineral acid or strong
caustic.
-
It is formulated to remove common forms of graffiti from
bare concrete surfaces .

This includes aerosol paints such as enamels and
fluorescent lacquers, and felt tip inks.

Method of Application
-
Apply by brush , roller , or spray a heavy coat of 2-4 mm

Do not brush or roll back and forth excessively when applying as this
will release solvents needed to dissolve the graffiti.

Aged or difficult to remove graffiti - scrub with wire brush
(recommended), 3M Green scouring pad , scrubbing brush , or similar

Water wash or water blast with plenty of water to remove all residues

Times to remove will vary depending on the type of graffiti to be
removed , graffiti thickness, temperature and humidity

Most graffiti will typically be ready for removal after 5 -20 minutes

Handling Precautions

Keep Out of Reach of Children

Avoid contact with eyes and skin.

Do not ingest.

Avoid inhalation.

Protective clothing, eye protection, and gloves should be
worn.

In confined spaces or poorly ventilated areas use a
respiratory mask with an organic vapour cartridge.

GEMSTRIP C is flammable so avoid sparks, flame, heat.
