Composition and Properties

GEMSTRIP AC is a powerful alkaline cleaner.

It is formulated to remove rust & gum build up upon
sanding belts , saw blades, planning knives, chain saws, and machinery.

It can also be used to remove oils, fats, and greases
from steel and iron articles e.g. glass bottle moulds, and oven roasting
equipment.

It will remove oil, grease, light rust etc. from engine
blocks, crank cases, machinery, and engineering equipment.

Can be used to strip ink & varnish. It does not attack
ferrous metals, high tensile steel, and does not readily re-rust.

It is non flammable and has low odour.

DO NOT apply to aluminium and zinc metals.

Method of Application
-
GEMSTRIP AC is applied by brush, spray, or dip to rust
areas and typically left for up to 30 minutes.

It is then rinsed off with plenty of water.

Can be diluted for some jobs e.g. 1:1 for saw blades, 5:1
for sanding belts.

Handling Precautions

Keep
away from children.

AVOID
contact with eyes and skin.
-
Chemical face mask & and full protective clothing must be worn when
using.

Do
not ingest. If splashed on eyes or skin wash immediately with copious
quantities of water for 10 minutes then seek medical help.
