Composition and Properties

GEMSOL AC is a water based etch formulated
to reduce slip on wet tiles.

It is recommended for use on floor tiles
with a heavy glaze

A test patch is recommended first

hospitals, rest homes, shopping centres etc.

Surface Preparation
-
Thoroughly clean floor to remove all
contaminants
-
Wet floor down Method of Application
-
Wear gloves, safety glasses, and protective
clothing
-
Pour a small amount of GEMSOL AC over the
area to be etched.
-
Spread evenly with sponge, leave 10 minutes
then wash off with plenty of clean water.
-
Do not allow GEMCOL AC to dry on surface or
it will affect tile appearance.
-
Do not allow in contact with metals, wall
tiles, other cleaning chemicals, or acids.
-
Etch a test area first to make sure GEMSOL
AC is suitable.
Handling Precautions

Keep away from children.

Highly Corrosive
-
Contact with eyes for even a short period
can cause blindness

Protective clothing, safety goggles, and
rubber gloves must be worn.

Do not ingest.
-
Do not breath spray mist or vapour
First Aid
-
If poisoning occurs contact a doctor or
poisons centre
-
If swallowed do not induce vomiting.
-
Give a glass of water.
-
If skin contact occurs, remove contaminated
clothing and wash skin.
-
Immediately apply Calcium Gluconate gel to
affected areas.
-
If eyes open flood with water for at least
15 minutes
