GEMSTOP FC II is a solvent
free 2 part fast set putty.

It is formulated for
stopping and filling wood , metal, concrete, fibreglass and similar
substrates.

It is normally tack free
in 1 mm film thickness after 0.5 - 2 min cure depending on ambient
temperature.

It will cure at low
temperatures.

It is supplied in a
convenient 1:1 mix ratio to be mixed with a putty knife or similar.

It has been used by timber manufacturers,
hobbyists , crafts , wood turners, boat builders, flooring
contractors etc.

30-60 min - will vary according to temperature & amount mixed. Can be
sanded earlier than this.

Surface Preparation
-
Loose material must be
removed e.g. sawdust .

All oil, grease , and
other contaminants must be removed .

Method of Application
-
GEMSTOP FC II is applied
by mixing 1 part of part A & 1 part Part B with a putty knife or similar
then applying.

Cure to tack free is
normally 0.5 - 2 min for 1mm thickness but will vary depending on
temperature and amount mixed.

Up to 30% extra hardener
can be used in cooler conditions to speed cure.

GEMSTOP FC II will be
slightly rubbery in the early stages of cure.

GEMSTOP FC II can be over
coated with most adhesives, or coatings providing it is thoroughly
sanded.

Handling Precautions
-
Hardener is CORROSIVE 8
and will burn skin & eyes.
-
It can also cause
respiratory damage.
-
Always use with eye & skin
protection.
-
Do not ingest.
-
Avoid inhalation – use in
a well ventilated area or use a respirator with an organic cartridge.

Do not breathe sanding
dusts.
-
Keep away from children.
