Epoxy adhesive for general purpose use

GEMSTICK GP is a general purpose 1:1 mix ratio epoxy adhesive available in a resin or paste (for vertical surfaces). It has been used in many different applications including bonding dissimilar materials. It has a 1:1 mix ratio, is flexible, and adheres well to many plastics (consult GemCo Ltd). It has been used by hobbyists , crafts , wood turners, boat builders, flooring contractors etc.

Physical properties

• Appearance: Base - high viscosity liquid Hardener - high viscosity liquid
• Odour: low odour Solids: 100%
• Adhesive Type: Epoxy
• Packaging: Small packs: 1,2,8 20 litre kits ; large packs 200 litre drums
• Mix ratio: 1:1
• Pot Life: Approximately 1 hr @ 20 degrees Celsius Cure:
• Typically overnight - will vary according to temperature.

Surface Preparation

• All oil, grease , loose material ,and other contaminants must be removed.

Method of Application

• Add 1 part hardener to 1 part base and thoroughly power mix.
• GEMSTICK GP is applied by spatula or similar.
• Cure normally overnight but will vary depending on temperature & humidity..

Handling Precautions

• Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
• Do not ingest.
• Use with adequate ventilation.
• Protective clothing, eye protection, and gloves should be worn.
• Do not breathe vapour or spray.
• Keep away from children.
