GEMCOAT EFT- SL is a self leveling epoxy floor topping. It is poured on then spread by trowel and allowed to level. It is capable of handling most floor traffic, and is resistant to most acids & alkalais. It is ideal for factory floors, chemical bunds, patching etc. It has low temperature cure and will tolerate damp substrates and less than perfect surface preparation.

Physical properties

Surface Preparation

• All oil, grease , and other contaminants must be removed – Gemprep 2000 is recommended
• Loose material, scale, and old paint must be removed.

Method of Application

• Add Part A & B in empty pail and mix thoroughly using a drill with a mixing blade.
• Then add Part C slowly into pail and thoroughly mix – note: in cooler weather it is possible to reduce amount of aggregate from 7L  to 6L or less  to make it easier to apply
• Pour on and spread by trowel to desired thickness then allow to level
• Apply a liberal coating of  non skid
• Cure to a firm surface is normally overnight but will vary depending on temperature & humidity. 7 days should be allowed for full cure.

Handling Precautions

• Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not ingest. Use with adequate ventilation.
• Protective clothing ,eye protection, and gloves should be worn.
• Keep away from children.
